Fun in the Snow!

I am back! I never realised how hard it would be to get some time on my cousins computer, It has been a struggle and finally after waiting in a very long line, it is finally my turn! First things first, I will update on what happened on Sunday.

Sunday started off pretty ruff. I will have to explain a few things to you all so just bear with me. On the 28th my Grandma in Texas had surgery, and also on that day my great-grandpa fell and had to go to the hospital. So everyone has been a bit frazzled. Then Sunday morning my Aunt received a call and we were informed that my Great-Grandma Sarah went to the hospital because of internal bleeding. That new just ruined or morning and to tell you the truth my mom and I were overflowing with tears. Later though my family and I went to my old church in Marion and the time there was wonderful! I enjoyed the time that I got to see some old faces, and most of the faces that I saw there that morning were new. I was so surprised to see that all of my friends were growing so fast and I am sure that they were surprised to see how fast I grew too! Our how family had a wonderful time! Later in the day, after lunch, we hooked up a long rope to the 4-wheeler and we decided to have some fun. Austin was first and he put on his ski's and skied behind the 4-wheeler, with Tyson driving. :) Lets just say that he had a wonderful time! After Austin was done it was Derek and Kendra's turn. We hooked up the sled and both had a fun time. Afterwards though Kendra's hair had balls of snow in them and both her face and Derek's was covered with snow that was sprayed from the 4-wheeler! Queen and I had a blast too! She got to ride with me on the 4-wheeler, and I can't really tell you if she had a fun time or not. After we were done it was again Austin's turn and even though we were far away we could hear him yelling, "FASTER, FASTER, FASTER!" Then when Tyson would go faster Austin would crash and it would start all over again! The last ride was just Derek, while Kendra and I rode with Tyson. I do have to say that all three of us enjoyed torturing Derek. :) Several time though I had to grab Queen and she had to ride with me, but for the most part she just ran along beside us. Tyson took Derek over a bump and let me tell you that Derek got some wonderful air! It was so great that he flew off the sled and hit the ground with no sled beneath him! Kendra, Tyson, and I were laughing very hard! :) After Derek had had enough of the bumps Tyson decide to go in circles, I can't really tell you if it was more torture for Kendra and I or for Derek. The snow would fly up and hit or faces and then we couldn't see, and to make mater worse our faces would melt the snow and since we were laughing and screaming our cheeks felt frozen! Despite the pain and laughter we all had a great time!

News Flash!

Hi! Well yesterday was our skiing day and it went pretty well except the fact that my boots were wet and that caused my feet to become cold and I could no longer feel them! Austin, Dad, and Derek had a wonderful time, they were made for skiing! They had many stories to tell us and each one held something fun and significant! Well at the last two hours or so my feet once again started to feel like they were frostbite, so I ended up spending the rest of our time in the van listen to audio-cassette tapes and cuddling for warmth, since it was 18 degrees! Oh I almost forgot to add that while we were skiing it was snowing and foggy! The mountains were powdery and for the most part it was a fun challenge to ski in, I actually enjoyed it!

When we got home from our awesome ski trip it was time for my Uncle's birthday party! The Potters, some of our old friends, came and we had so much fun playing games and just hanging out. Later that night though was not that good. We watched a movie and at 2:30 Austin did something disgusting to Kendra while she was sleeping, and I will not tell you what it was either! Well after that Kendra was upset and she ended up going up stairs to sleep with her mom. Well then at 6:30 Tyson was up and throwing up. All of us kids are staying away from Tyson and right now he is sentenced to his parents room until he gets better. Hopefully non of the rest of us will get what ever he has.

Well this is the end of my post and I would like to say a few Happy Birthday words to Emma! I wish that you will have a wonderful Birthday and beware of any upcoming phone calls!

See Yeah!

Montana Time!

OK, so me and my family arrived in Montana last night at 6:30! We had no idea that it was going to take that long to get here! The pass was covered with snow and it was absolutely beautiful! I enjoyed the whole trip! When we arrived at my cousins house we were greeted with a surprise my cousins family got a five week old mini schnauszer. He is black and extremly tiny! His name is Tobbie, and so far he has been really cute. Correction for all of you who thought Tyson was 6/1 he is actually 6 ft, I still think that that is rediculous! Austin has almost caught up to me, well, he has to stand on his tip-toes to be the same height as me. Kendra is still the cutest one of the three and is still really fun to hang out with, and Derek and I, I don't think we have changed.

Last night we kids had the privledge of sleeping in the basement! Oh JOY!!! Actually we had a really fun time. Kendra and I got or own separte room, and we talked way past the bed time limits. SHAME ON US!!! We talked and laughed and I scared Kendra, and she screamed her head off, and Tyson was telling the younger boys that there were men outside of the windows so thoes two were scarred for the rest of the night.

This morning my Aunt, mom, Kendra, Tobbie, Tyson, and I all went shopping for skiing equipment. I never realalised that when you brought in a five week old puppie to do a little shopping that you would be over run with people telling you how cute he is and all that junk. Several times Kendra got tounge tied and she called Tobbie several different names. It was actually funny.

Tomorrow Austin, Derek, my dad, maybe Tyson, and myself are all going skiing, and hopfully I will come back in one peice!

Hope all my dear friends back in Washington had a wonderful Christmas, and I will see you all next year!

Wednesday night wrapping fun!

OK! So last night at church-youth group Josh and Kendra Parker lead us in a really fun game! We were divided up into six groups and one person in the group had to be wrapped. Well I was the lucky person who was chosen to be wrapped!! Destiny, Megan, Nevada, and Rachel E all wrapped me from my feet to my shoulders and it was a cool experience. They stuck bows ony me head and all over me, they got carried away and put a bow on my forhead, cheecks, and my neck!!! Now that was just weird!! They even put bows on my shoes, that was the one thing that stayed on me at the end of the game. :)

Our Bible study was really good and I really enjoyed talking about scarificing your time and other things such as my money, poupularity, clothes, food ect; to share the word with others. That is one thing that I struggle with a lot. But i alwyas have to remind myself that I am either planting a seed or helping one grow. One thing that opened me up to a new experience was the Riverside Mission trip. I had so much fun and one of the most challenging things during that week was going around in the HUDS to ask the people in the neighborhood an opinion poll. But one of the things that I enjoyed a lot was the time that I got to spend to help all the little kids learn how to play some sports. It was really fun to see them one day latch on to one of the youth and then the next day another one. All in all that trip was an experience that I would like to have again!

Well that is all I have to say for know! Any one who was there last night knows how much we had fun and benifited from our lesson that night!

Fun Winter Thoughts!

Guess what! I am going to Montana!!!! It will be so much fun! My dad, Derek, and I are planning to go skiing with my cousin Austin, the middle one, because he has a season pass. I am excited to go but to tell you the truth the steep slops kind-of scar me. But that is not the same for Derek. We get to the top and I am much better at going straight than Derek is and so i will get a head start, and I will be traveling down the hill at leisurely speed and then...WHOOSH!!!! Derek, other wise known as the skiing uni-bomber, flies past me and races down the slope and breaking land-speed records. Every time he does that I always laugh, and that was the first time he had every been skiing and he enjoyed every minute of it!!

This year will be different because my Grandma and Grandpa won't be there and our Christmas Eve party will be a little different, and hopefully we will all be happy to enjoy the moment. I also don't know where we are going to stay, we usually stay at my Grandma's, and sometimes switch in between the two houses, but since they are gone...I don't know where we are all going to stay. And I don't know yet if we are taking Queen. I like to take her in the summer, but in the winter it is much more difficult to take care of her and exercise her in the cold, and she always stinks when she is wet and howls every night because she thinks that we have left her all alone, and why not her next door neighbors are nothing but donkeys, I would howl too if I was her!!!

So far I have not got all mt Christmas shopping done, I need to get some things for my friends, in Montana, and I have to put together all the presents for my friends here, but I will not say what they are!! :)

Well I better go my mom wants to talk to me and I better eave my brother and dad to saving the universe from galactic evil forces, in peace.

See yeah!
Have a Merry Christmas!

Basketball Games!

Hey! I haven't been posting for a while so I thought that my first new post should be about our Basketball team!! Well we have been practicing every Friday and every practice had been incredible we not only have grown in a close friendship but we have grown into a determined team! Our first game was on Tuesday and the whole team had the "first game-jitters" which is understandable. We lost, but the good news is that Lacey and I made our only points, we were so happy with the four points that we had. Our second game was on Thursday and even though we did not win we earned some wonderful comments from the coach and the assistant-coach(my dad!). They were very proud that we had wonderful difference but frowned on our offence. The assistant coach said that we accomplished the difficult task of basketball and now we just need to work on the easy stuff...offence. :)

Practice was tonight and I must say that that was the worst practice ever! There was too much talking and not enough action and actually applying what we learned. There were two extra dad's out there!! I really don't like having four people telling me what to do, especially since there are all telling us something different, and it is always hard for me to listen to all of them and make them happy, because if I don't do what they say they won't shut-up, they will continue to inform me of what I am doing wrong. Personally I think that the "original" coach should be the only one telling us what to do, but I do really enjoy the fact that my dad takes his time to help me and my brother learn the sport of basketball.

Know since we are on the topic of basketball I thought that it would be appropriate for me to say a few things to encourage my team mates! To Lacey, Bella, and Emma- My dad is very proud of your efforts and the time that you take to try what he says, and after every game he gloats on you all for the excellent job that you did and the hard performance that you made! To Nevada- My dad thinks that you are trying hard, and doing your best getting the rebounds, but after every game he still is set on wanting you to jump to the hoop(personally, I think you are doing great!) So with those encouraging thoughts to some of my team mates, I will have to close here! Thanks for bearing with me and reading my post!!

P.S. Thanks to all the moms too who have been there to encourage us to use "our blessings!"

The Decorations are out!

OK, so this morning I got rid of my brother and my dad who went to the church air soft war that was this morning. Well guess what time I woke up at...7:45!!! and I usually sleep in to about 8:45 so I didn't get my extra hour of sleep. :( So like I said I did my chores and then got the Christmas decorations out. Our Christmas decorations are in our garage and are stored up above the ground in a very hard place to get. The only way you can retrieve them is by standing on the freezer using one hand to steady your-self with the other gets the heavy decoration boxes out. Well I want to you all to know that our family has at least 10 boxes of decorations, and I had to get them all down by myself!!! The first few boxes were light and very easy to retrieve. After those boxes where safe in the house it was the heaviest box next, the Christmas tree. Usually when the boys are home my brother and mom will take it down, but since the boys were gone and my mom was busy vacuuming it was up to me to get the Christmas tree box down. First I stood on the freezer and pushed the box inch-by-inch until there was enough of the box exposed for me to grab. I grabbed the box and kind-of turned weird so the box would slide onto my back and would make it safe to the ground. So I started the proses of getting the box down, I didn't realize that the box was that heavy until it was too late and on my back/side. :) So after about 2 min of inching the box down I had to open the door and scoot the box in through the laundry room, after it was in the laundry room I had to carry it through our hallway into our front room. Then after all that arduous work my mom said that I would have to wait till my brother came home from his "fellowship"!!!!! I was just a little bit upset. :)
Well I better go I have to babysit in about 30 min! See ya!
