One Crazy Week!

Hey! I am sorry that I haven't posted in a while, things here have been so busy and I have never gotten a chance to up-date on Sports camp or anything else! Tuesday was the second day of sports camp and it was just as hot as the day before! I stayed with Emma that day and we went to her grandma's house to swim. It felt so good after a hot day, we had a lot of fun just hanging out! Later Emma and I rode back to her house, but since the house was locked we rode back to see if her mom was coming, they were so we headed back to her house and on the way out Milo ran out and dashed down the street. Emma and I hopped onto our bikes and rode after him. We finally caught him and brought him back, it was one crazy day!

Wednesday was awesome! Sports camp was in the morning and it was the first day of baseball and I have to say it went a whole lot better than I thought it would. All the kids liked Emma and Sam, which was OK for me, I don't do well with a whole bunch of kids all around me, so oh well! Some of the little kids were playing match maker with Emma, one of the little kids was going to pair her up with Sam, but then stated that he was too old for her, then they all decided that it was best for her to be paired up with Steven! It was funny to listen to them all and all the kids were funny!

Later all the youth went to Emma's house to have pizza! It felt so good to be inside out of the sun and into a cool building for a little while! We had fun playing ping-pong and guitar hero. Eva was entertaining us with some stories and we all had a blast away from children and the sun! Later we all loaded up and went to the park, which was the high-light of my day! Volleyball is not really our youth groups thing, but hey its all ways good to try some thing new! Ultimate was the best part, it was fun and we all did a really good job! The roller-rena was also really fun, I luv roller-blading, but when there is a lot of people out on the rena, I can't do anything....daring!! :) Olivia and I got Vada to come out and skate with us, it was awesome!!

Finally I get to the end of my hectic week, Thursday was the last day of baseball! :) We were all so tired and were ready to just stop and take a break! The sessions went well and it passed more quickly then I thought and I was so glad when it was all over. The only bad thing that I hoped would not happen did happen....I got hit in the knee with a metal baseball bat, it hurt, thankfully though it was not in the face. :)

1st day of Sports Camp!

Monday was the beginning day of Sports Camp. This year we are doing soccer and baseball! I was excited to be doing this again, hoping that there would be no crazy children, like last year, but there was. We got off into our groups and I was with Ron and Ben, Eli joined us later. We had the station where the kids learned how to dribble and to handle the ball close and tight next to your feet. It went really well with the younger kids and the older kids, then we got the group with a little boy named Tristan and Dalton. All I can say about those two kids is that they have a lot of energy and hearing problems! :)

I ran bathroom runs for the girls, that's all ways so much fun! :) One time I took Kathrine and and little girl named Jessica to the bathroom. On the way there Jessica turned to me and said, "I go to the bathroom on a regular basis!" It was so cute, I could not help but smiling!

At the end of the day we had a soccer game, oh joy!! Some little boy kick the ball and hit me and he came up to me and apologized, it was so cute! Then I was trying to get the ball and I tipped Derek!! I DID IT, I FINALLY TRIPPED HIM!!! HAHAHAHAH! IN YOUR FACE DEREK! All in all the first day of Sports camp went....well! :)

Car Show!

Last night my family went with Vada and Lacey's family to a Car show that was on G-way! We sat on the side walk and watched as all these old cars drove by and one some random occasion some new mini-van or truck would drive through! We saw so many cars that were really cool! There were even some doon-buggies! One car shot fire out the back!! It was really cool! Another car rolled its tires for us and that was really cool! After wards we went across from the park to the parking lot to try to fin the Shelby car, but it wasn't there! We did find Lacey and Vada's friends car...the Lotus!! It was so cool!! Then we left, it was not as exciting as I thought it was going to be, but hey, it was still fun hanging out with Lacey and Vada!!

Tonight me and my family are going to a Fever football game! I am so excited this will be the first one I have ever gone to and I am looking forward to it too! I will have to post later tonight when I get back and tell you all how it went!! See you all tomorrow!

No More MCP!

Yesterday was my mom's last day of work, MCP!!! She has all ready trained the new secretary and, yes, she has even made a new voice message!! :) I am happy that she is not working at MCP any more, and that we have finished out time there, successfully!! I am not sad that we won't be going there every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, but my mom is sad that she won't be working there any more, which is totally understandable. I won't miss it a bit!! :)

Guess what!! I am almost finished with my first book! I only have a few more scenes to go and then I will be officially done! I am so excited to get this book done and move on the others that I have!! Hopefully I will get it done in the next day or two!!

Ultimate...Water Balloons....and VBS Songs!

Yesterday was awesome! Ultimate Frisbee went really well and I thought it was more fun then Saturday's Ultimate Frisbee games. Our team did OK, we started off really bad and then we pulled it off, at the end. Everybody was awesome, they all did really good and we played like one big family! Derek and I were on the same team along with Vada and Lacey. For once family was one the same team!! I luv playing Ultimate with kids that I know, instead of playing with those who I don't know. The water war was awesome, but next time I am going to come prepared, I wanted to get wet!! Oh well! Every one was trying to gang up on Sam and Ron......Ron got wet the most!

When we got back to the church Emma, Nathan, and I had to go and practice all out songs and the movements!! The songs went really well and we all caught on really quick, which is a really good thing, for us. :) Dinner was good....spaghetti and meatballs! Derek, Nathan, Emma, and I went to the youth room to eat because it was to crowded in the fellowship hall. Emma was criticizing me, because I cut up my meatball! She was telling me that I had to eat it in one big bite. So she plopped the big meatball in her mouth and choked on it! I was laughing so hard and was trying not to choke on my food. Nathan was making snorting noises trying to get Emma to make the noise and she was trying not to choke any more! It was really funny and totally something that is normal for Emma to do!

Sam shared is testimony later and you could tell he was nervous but he did a good job! Nathan, Emma, and I missed the last week of training, because we had to go practice our songs some more. We need to know the motions and the whole songs by heart for Riverside because we will not have an over head to shoe the kids the video! We got a lot done and the songs went really well! Hopefully we will have them all memorized for Riverside! Dose every one else have their lessons planned?? I hope that everything gets done before we leave which is in like.......9 days!!! I am so excited and I can't wait, this years trip is going to be great!

Riverside VBS Meeting!

Yesterday was so much fun! My mom had to work so Derek and I were left at home to do...well nothing. We had forgotten some things that my mom had told us to do, so we kind-of did nothing through out the day, but I did do my laundry so that was good!!

Vada and Lacey picked us up and we went to the meeting. When we went in Ron was talking about Zacheaus. We missed some of it, but we all caught on very quickly! Then we got separated into our groups!! Nathan, Emma, and I went off to practice the VBS songs. They were very interesting. Luckily Emma gave me a copy of the songs so I can learn them at home!! Sounds fun huh!!? But hey I have to admit we had a lot of fun, learning the songs. All in all I thought that the meeting went really well and we got a lot done!

I am so excited for this afternoon!! It is going to be so much fun!! See you all there!

Fathers Day!

Yesterday was great! My dad got all his favorites!! The cards were great, its always tradition to get him a funny card for fathers day and for his birthday! My dad is just that type of dad that is to funny for a sentimental card, they always have to be funny!! For lunch we got stuffed hamburgers, they were pretty good, but I was to occupied to focus on how the food tasted because I thought my hamburger was not all the way done. We sat out side and talked for a long time about many different things, some funny, and the others serious, but Derek and I made them funny and enjoyable! Later we kind-of just hung out and did nothing a typical Sunday afternoon! I did give Queen a bath though, and today I have to give her a hair cut, oh-joy!!

The praise team did a good job last night for the church service, and I thought that Correna did a really good job on her piano piece! Later though when every one was putting all the expensive equipment away Nathan dropped part of Rachel's drum! I am sorry, but I almost giggled, during that serious moment!! Lacey almost did too!!! Any who, I hope that every one had a terrific day and hopefully I will see most of you all tomorrow!!

Summer Kick-off Party!!

Yesterday was the summer kick-off party and I went thinking that it was going to be the same as last year, but it wasn't! This year instead of going to KBC we went to RSBC and did ultimate Frisbee games. There were four teams, the leaders were the summer missionaries. I was on the orange team that got beat to a pulp by all the other teams!! We won our first games against the green but then lost the other two games. I did pretty well, but once again I will have to say that I am not good what so ever had ultimate Frisbee!! Luckily our team had Steve and Destiny, they were the only two teams members that were really good! We had Sam during the first game and his height was very helpful, but then he left! Oh well, I still had a lot of fun!

Riverside is coming up and I am so excited!! i am glad that I get to work with Emma in the music!! It is going to be so much fun and it is going to be the perfect opportunity to praise the Lord! I am looking forward to spending the week with all of you guys, soon!!

Well that's about it for know, and that basically sums up my week! Sorry I don't have anything else worth sharing, but that's all I got!! Sometimes my life seems a little dull at times!! :)

Life's a Highway!

Hey guys, I am sorry that I have not been posting in a while. I have been extremely busy these last few days!! Doesn't that sound familiar!! Monday was crazy! I decided to go with me dad to Yakima to help him with his meeting and he told me that if I went with him I could drive and get some hours down. So I went partially because I didn't have anything to do and I wanted to go some where and I always have some fun with me dad. It was windy when we started and our Chevy Astro was Top heavy so the wind tossed me around on the highway. I enjoyed my dad's coaching until we got to the town of Yakima, then my nerves got the best of me. I won't go into so many details, all I will say is that we made it safe!! The meeting went OK, it seemed to drag on for ever and at one o'clock I thought i had to be at least four, but it wasn't!! Towards the end I met this girl named Hannah and we talked for along time and it made me happy to talk to another girl about fun things and just talk!! I talked to another lady who has a daughter my age. i was telling her about the areas I struggle with in school...language. She was saying that her daughter was the same as me, but that she could write really well! I found out that her daughter and I have a lot in common.

Later that night we all sat down and watched Mouse Trap!! My dad, brother, and I were laughing so hard and we had so much fun!! My mom kind-of just looked at us like we were nuts and goof balls!! Oh well, I loved the movie!!

Today I decided that I would go with my dad again only this time we would be going to Winachee!! I drove again and it was raining all day!! We went to go across the blue bridge and the traffic was backed up, it was crazy and totally frustrating!! We ended up taking a totally different exit then what was planned and we got lost in down town Pasco!! We made a big circle and was finally on our way. Then to make matters worse it was raining and when it would stop raining I would turn off my windshield wipers and then it would start raining again!! We made it safe and it took forever!! Most of the way there we were driving on a two lane road!! The meeting went OK, there were some crazy kids and these kids that we angels!! The day went by a lot quicker then the day before and before I new it the meeting was over and I was back on the road traveling home!! All in all the total hours that I got was 8!!! I am so proud of myself and I had a good time with my dad, even though there were some...frustrating times!!

Rain, Rain, Rain!!

What is up with all this rain!!! Its pouring like crazy outisde and my poor dog has to stay inside, witch is actually a good thing!

Today my brother and I are at home, alone!!! PARTY!!!JK!!!! We don't do a lot of fun things, so sometimes I can think of nothing to do that will keep my mind occupied. I could work on the blanket that I am making, but I only have three more colors left and I want to get some more before I continue, oh well!! I am almost done with it too, just 21 more squares to go!! i could write in my book, but I am having a hard time focusing! I could read but all my books are packed away in storage and the books I got at the Library are boring!! So I guess what I am trying to say is....I need a suggestion to what I should do to keep my self busy!!

This morning my dad left, again, for....some where far away! he has conventions all this week so he is going to be extremely busy and tired!! The good thing about this week is that I get to go shopping, hopefully, and do some fun things with my mom, when she is not at MCP. I am also looking forward to finishing my blanket!!! And if it keeps raining my blanket will come in handy!! This week I also have to give my dog a bath, and trim her up!! OH JOY!!!

So I know that this post is not as long as the last one, but that's OK!! I just want to let you all know what my week is going to be like in advance!! :) See you all on Wednesday!

News!!

Sorry for not posting in awhile, I guess I have been waiting for something to happen in my life that is worth sharing. Sometimes I get the feeling nothing ever happens around here, but in actuality something happens every day, I am just to lazy to type it all up! So here yah go, and post!!

Saturday was the Youth Car wash and we had so much fun!! We would all get wet then be dry a few minutes later, crazy I know, but the weather was really hot!! I got sprayed in the face so many time with the hose, it was not funny!! I kind-of wish I had contacts that day, but oh well, maybe next time!! Once in a while Emma, Vada, and I would slap each other with the soapy sponges, and get soap all over us, it was awesome!! There was once during the whole day that we didn’t have any cars, so we goofed off with the two hoses that we had. I didn’t do any thing with the hoses, I just controlled the water switch and decided when I wanted it to go off and when I would put it back on. J But then Ron came and told us to stop fooling around because it would not look good to the people driving by, if we were goofing off, while some of the others were holding out car wash signs out on the side walk! The small water fights never stopped though, we were all continuing to get each other wet and soapy. The day ended really good, at one point we had cars waiting, it was crazy, but we managed to really good!! All out hard work paid off and I was glad that I spent my Saturday afternoon helping, rather than sitting at home, doing nothing. In the end we raised 300-some dollars. Now that makes you feel good!! I can’t wait to see what God does with the park in Riverside! The bad part of the day was that we all got extremely sun-burnt. Ok, so I have to admit, my sun-burn is not as bad as every one else, but it still hurts! I got sun-burnt on the feet, back of my legs, my hand, part of my arm, and part of my elbow. Laugh if you want but its true!! I guess I didn’t put on the sun-screen good enough!!

Later that night my family and I went to some friends house for dinner. We had hamburgers, umm!! We had a lot of fun, even though we talked about boring politics, school, and other junk like that!! There just seemed to be a comic relief to it all and I enjoyed my self!!

Later that night we all sat down on out couches, just like devoted couch potatoes and watched Troy, but we started watching it almost half-way through. Despite the blood, I enjoyed the movie, I thought it was really good. I like history, so I really like the movie. I was so sad though when Hector died, I would have screamed, but I would have probably got in trouble. I hated the ending too, I was so mad at Pairs for shouting Achilles! All in all it was a really good movie!

Sunday was great!! Pastor Stanley, I thought did a really good job on the sermon. Sunday school was even better!! We got to go out side to the front yard of the white house!! We had a lot of fun, and personally I think we should go outside every week! Jenny did a really good job with the lesson and even though the object lessons were short and simple they were easy to understand and fit to things in my life. I like her a lot for a Sunday school teacher!

Later that day was choir, uhh, now that is a completely different story! We started a new song and we did pretty good for the first time singing it, though I did a horrible job!! at one part I wasn’t sure what I was singing and then the next time, I didn’t hold the notes long enough! I am so not cut out for singing! The sermon was really long and I am glad that I got to sit with Emma, Dominique, Derek, and Nathan. After the sermon was over we all headed down to the fellowship hall and got cake and quickly left to the youth room! When ever we are in the youth room, we always create funny memories!! First we were throwing mints at each other and trying to throw them into some ones drink. Most of them, though, found their way into Eli’s drink. Wonder now that happened!!! Later we tried to have a woofle ball war, but the boys didn’t want to hurt their sun-burns and their were a lot of non youths with us!! So instead we played baseball, well kind-of. I took car of the lights and after Emma pitched the ball to Nathan, I would turn off the lights. Emma hit Nathan in the head once, It was funny! Then we, or should I say Nathan, stuffed Emma into the tall garbage can that was in the youth room!! She fit too!! We had a fun night, it was great to just hang out with all my friends!!

Monday, the worst day of them all, right!! Well I got up this morning and was getting ready to go help my dad set up for his meeting. I was in the bathroom, shutting the door and I caught my foot and now my foot has a really nice cut!! I always seem to do something to myself, that is pain full after I just wake up, hum, wonder why!! So I spend most of my day helping my dad with his meeting! Even though nothing happens, I like spending time with him!! Later in the day, towards the end of the meeting Lori, Carrie, and Faith came in!! While my dad talked with Lori and Carrie I got to have Faith!! She and I walked around the room and I showed her the books and played with her!! I have to say she is so cute and so much fun to play with!! I luv her laugh!!

Well I better stop blabbing, I am sure I have all ready put you to sleep! JK!!! But hey there’s strawberry-short cake waiting for me down stairs!! Umm!! So I will talk to you all Wednesday!
