Yesterday was the lady Warriors Varsity Basketball team first game! It was pre-season so thankfully it did not count against our record! Our team met at the school at 4:30 then left for Central at 5:30! We had a blast going up there and it was a 45 minute ride. When we got there we had to wait for the first game to finish and boy we were all so nervous!!
Then the fourth quarter came of the first girls game and it was time for us to stretch and get warmed up. While we were out in the hall way warming up, some of the guys from the varsity team walk in, and they had signs!!
Our outfits are really cool! We got to wear the red ones and they were really nice! Our game started and it went well, though our team did not know what we were doing. Partially Backus we have only been working with the varsity coach for about three or four days!! :P
I fowled some girls and got fowled!! I went to the free-throw line twice. The first was a one on one, if I made the first basket then I could shoot another one! I made both of them. Then I went to the line again, only this time I got two shots and I made both of them too! It was really exciting! And then of course, you know me you guys I can't go through out one single game without taking some girl down, well the girl was going in for a lay-up and all I could do was stick out my arm, so I did and I made contact with her face! Oops, my bad!! There was a girl on the team that resembled Godzilla!! I am serious when I first saw the team, I thought she was the coach!
Any ways, the total score was 30 to 66, we lost, but hey we did really well on our first game! I had a lot of people from my school and from the other tell us that we were really good. Some of the parents from the other team said that they were looking forward when we would play that team again. I have to admit, they were not a tough as a team as what we played against in the church league. That one team with those really big girls my first year, would have creamed the team we were playing against last night!! :P
I guess I will go, even on my one day off from school I still have my two hour b-ball practice! Luv and miss you guys!!

HAHAHA!! Our teachers did not pass any homework out to us!! So this was a really relaxing vacation!! :P

Oh ya!...that team was HUGE!! I remember how they picked on Kayla...i was sooo mad!! i wanted to sock 'em in the face!! wow there....lol...
Well, our first practice was harder than what we are used to! and Coach Kelly tore the tendon is his leg and is on krutched now!!! i feel so bad!! So that sucks...but i am so flippin' sore from practice! lol...i feel like an idiot walking around cuz i feel like an old lady im walking so slow! lol.

ha ha! go vada! i would sock em in the face too...but i probly coulnd't reach it! lol don't feel bad, my mom called me an old lady when we were at walmart the day after my 12 mile hike! i was hobbling around and leaning on the cart! hope you feel better by friday! i feel so bad i'm not going to be there! sry!
